What Is Recycled Yarn ?
The main raw material of recycle yarn production is recycled fiber. Yarn pieces and fabric scraps collected from various textile enterprises mostly contain fibers such as cotton, polyester and viscose. After the collected fibers are first subjected to the classification and color separation process, they are cut into small pieces and turned into fibers in a machine called Rag pulling machine, covered with fiber-opening wires. Since the fiber obtained contains a high proportion of short fibers, recycled ( regenerated ) yarn is produced by mixing with synthetic fibers such as polyester and acrylic with a high fiber length to achieve the needed strength in the production of regenerated yarn.
Due to the fact that the consumption amount, which increases due to the increasing world population, causes great damage to the environment and ecological balance, recycled ( regenerated ) products come to the fore in every sector and gain more importance.
With the latest technology Open End spinning machines and the applied quality control system in our facility, recycled ( regenerated ) yarn is produced at world standards. In addition to lower energy consumption, recycled ( regenerated ) yarns that we produce without using water, chemicals and dyestuffs contribute to the formation of a greener world underlined with the recycling certificates we own.
How To Make Recyled Yarn ?
Fabric and yarn wastes collected from various textile enterprises are primarily subjected to sorting process.
The fabric parts whose classification is completed are turned into colored recycled ( regenerated ) raw materials in the fiber opening machine. Since the raw material obtained contains short fiber length, blending process is performed with synthetic fibers with high fiber length. The combing process is applied to the mixture formed afterwards in the carding machines. The sliver obtained here is turned into regenerated yarn in rotor spinning machines called Open-End.
Why Recycled Yarn Is Important ?
The amount of consumption that increases in parallel with the rapidly growing world population causes great damage to our world and therefore to our environment. We all have important duties to leave a cleaner and healthier future for future generations. Recycled ( Regenerated ) yarn produced with recycled raw materials in the textile industry contributes to the formation of a clean world. Recycled (regenerated) yarn produced without using water, dyestuffs and chemicals is the guarantee of a greener world.
